If you’ve ever spotted a lovely card online, only to realise the brand is based overseas, you’ve probably had the same thought:

“Will this take ages to arrive?”

Totally fair — international shipping can mean longer transit times, tracking gaps, customs delays, and (sometimes) unexpected fees.

That’s why our fulfilment is set up differently.

Even though imagii is based in the UK, orders placed from the UK, USA, Canada, and Australia are printed and posted within that same country. In other words: your card isn’t travelling across the world. It’s produced locally and dispatched using local delivery services, so it arrives like a domestic order — not an international one.

What “printed and posted locally” actually means

When you place an order on our online store, our trusted production partner routes the order to the printing house within the country of the delivery address:

• UK orders: printed and posted in the UK
• USA orders: printed and posted in the USA
• Canada orders: printed and posted in Canada
• Australia orders: printed and posted in Australia

So if you’re in New York or Toronto or Sydney, your card isn’t being shipped from the UK. It’s being printed near you, then sent out through domestic mail.

What you’ll receive (print & finish)

Our greeting cards are produced with a matte finish and are available in 5x7 / 7x5 format (depending on orientation and design).  Square cards in a 5.5 x 5.5 format are produced either with matte or gloss, depending on the specific card design. All card designs are blank on the inside, ready for your own message, and a growing range can be personalised on the front as well

Free standard postage — with upgrades available

To make gifting easy (and to remove checkout hesitation), we offer free standard postage in these countries (UK, USA, Canada and Australia).

If you need it sooner, faster shipping options may be available at checkout for an additional cost. That way, you can choose what suits your timeline and budget — from “no rush” to “I need this quicker.”

How it works (simple version)

1. Shop in your local market on our Shopify store (UK/USA/Canada/Australia) by selecting your country/currency.
2. Place your order as normal (with personalisation if available).
3. Your card is printed within your country.
4. It’s posted using local delivery services — not international mail.

You don’t need to do anything special. The routing is handled behind the scenes.

Does this mean my card is shipped from within my country?
For UK/USA/Canada/Australia orders: it’s printed and dispatched within that same country, using local delivery services.

Will delivery be “next day”?
Delivery speed depends on the shipping option you select at checkout and your location. We offer free standard postage, with paid upgrades where available.

What if I’m ordering from outside those four countries?
At the moment, our local fulfilment setup is optimised for the UK, USA, Canada, and Australia. If you’re elsewhere, you may see different delivery behaviour.

Can I send it directly to the recipient?
Yes — however this is only part of the bespoke service which we can help you with if you contact us prior to making an order so we are clear what your requiremetns are.
